The 'Mix & Match series covers the Practical Component
of many topic areas for both Junior and Senior elective classes.

Here are some of Ed Wilson's suggestions for its use:
SMALL GROUPS
Minimum 4 piece - rhythm & one or more front line. Add the vocal if applicable. Or play as an instrumental piece with the optional written solos supplied.
BIG BANDS
Where full instrumentation is not available. Remember
there is only one trombone part and two trumpet parts. You can double up on the trombone and trumpet parts. Once again, you must use the rhythm section.

ODD COMBOS
Of Bb, Eb and C instruments, with rhythm section. Ideal for performance for soloists for exam work.
SOUL GROUPS
Of various instruments with rhythm section.
BRASS GROUPS
2 trumpets + 2 trombones + F horn with rhythm section.
SAX ENSEMBLES
Works beautifully with rhythm section and the 5 saxophone parts supplied.
VOCAL WITH BAND
Vocal with various instrument combinations, with rhythm section..

Instrumentation:
18-21 parts per pack, plus conductor's score.
Usable with 4-21 pieces (4 piece MUST include a 3-piece rhythm section).
